// Golf Carts
Gas and electric golf cart repair, diagnostics, seasonal service, battery and charger troubleshooting, and drivetrain work. Serving Fergus, Elora, and all of Centre Wellington.
If your golf cart sat all off-season, weak batteries, stale fuel, charger faults, and brake issues tend to show up all at once. We sort it out and get it back to reliable.
From gas carts that run rough to electric carts with charging or battery issues, we handle the mechanical and electrical side of both.
Carb issues, stale fuel, no-starts, rough running, belt and clutch problems, oil service, and tune-ups. If your gas cart has lost power or won't move properly, we track it down.
Battery packs, charger problems, solenoids, controllers, switches, wiring faults, and general performance issues. We diagnose why it won't charge, won't move, or just feels weak.
Slow charge times, dead batteries, bad connections, corroded terminals, and charger faults. We inspect the whole charging system instead of guessing and swapping parts blindly.
Soft brakes, pulling, worn steering parts, front-end looseness, and general safety checks. If the cart feels sketchy or sloppy, we inspect it properly before it gets worse.
Belts, clutches, transaxles, drive components, and general power-delivery problems. Whether it revs but barely moves or struggles on hills, we diagnose the root cause.
Pre-season inspections, fluid checks, tune-ups, and battery maintenance before the cart goes back into regular use. Great for carts that have been sitting for months.
If your cart clicks, cranks weakly, powers up inconsistently, or is completely dead, we check the electrical path or fuel/ignition system and narrow it down fast.
Lights, switches, accessories, charging leads, cables, and the random issues that come with older carts or hard-used fleet carts. If something feels off, bring it in.
Private carts, campground carts, acreage carts, and utility carts all show up with their own quirks. If it is gas or electric and needs attention, give Chris a call or text.

Tired of weak batteries, slow charging, and watering cells every few weeks? We convert gas and electric golf carts to lithium (LiFePO4): lighter, longer-lasting, and almost zero maintenance.
A quality LiFePO4 lithium pack is rated for roughly 3,000-6,000 charge cycles, commonly 5 to 10 years. Lead-acid batteries usually last 3 to 5 years, so one lithium pack often outlives two or three lead-acid sets.
Lithium is 50-70% lighter than a bank of lead-acid batteries. That means better range, quicker acceleration, and easier climbing on hills, with no drop-off in power as the battery drains.
No watering cells, no scrubbing corroded terminals, no babysitting the charger. Lithium charges faster and holds full power until nearly empty instead of slowing down as it runs low.
We use LiFePO4 batteries with a built-in Battery Management System, match the charger to the pack, add mounting adapters as needed, and test the whole system before it goes back to you. A correct install is everything.
Final price depends on your cart and the range you want. We quote it firm before any work starts. And if lithium isn’t worth it for how you actually use your cart, we’ll tell you straight. Carts we convert include Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, Star EV, ICON and Evolution.
// Common Questions
Most conversions start around $2,500 installed: battery, a compatible charger if needed, and the labour to wire and test it. Final price depends on your cart and the battery capacity you want. You get a firm quote before any work starts.
For most owners who use their cart regularly, yes: longer life, no maintenance, faster charging, and full power until nearly empty. If you only use it a few times a year, lead-acid may still make sense. We’ll tell you which fits how you actually use it.
Nearly all electric Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, Star EV, ICON and Evolution carts can be converted. Lithium packs are smaller and lighter than lead-acid, so they almost always fit. We add mounting adapters as needed.
A good LiFePO4 pack is rated for roughly 3,000-6,000 charge cycles, commonly 5 to 10 years. Lead-acid usually lasts 500-1,000 cycles, or 3 to 5 years, so one lithium pack often outlives two or three lead-acid sets.
Yes, done properly. We use stable LiFePO4 chemistry with a built-in Battery Management System that guards against overcharge, over-discharge and overheating, and we test the full system before the cart goes back to you.
