These terms cover repair, maintenance, pickup/delivery, and related services from Fergus Small Engine Inc. in Fergus, Ontario. By booking or leaving equipment with us, you agree to them. Questions? Call or text (226) 777-6995.
Estimates & approval
Estimates are our best assessment before tear-down. If we find more work, we contact you before proceeding when practical. Approved work may be billed at the package price or our labour rate of $110/hour + HST, plus parts and fees.
Parts
Parts are charged separately unless a package says otherwise. If a part is delayed or discontinued, we will tell you and discuss options.
Pickup & delivery
When available: $35 per direction plus $1.50/km within about 30 km of Fergus. Confirmed when you book. Equipment must be reasonably accessible and safe to move.
Your equipment
You confirm you own it or are authorized to request service. Remove personal items as instructed. We take reasonable care in our custody, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or normal wear.
Turnaround & payment
Parts lead times and seasonal volume can change timing. Payment is due when services are complete unless we agree otherwise. Unpaid equipment may be subject to remedies allowed by Ontario law after reasonable notice.
Warranty
We stand behind our workmanship. Contact us promptly if related work fails under normal use and we will make it right. Misuse, neglect, unauthorized repairs, and unrelated failures are not covered. Parts may carry a manufacturer warranty.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, our liability for a job is limited to what you paid us for that job, except where the law does not allow that limit.
Website booking
Online booking is a request. It is confirmed when we accept it. We may decline work we cannot safely or reasonably perform.
Governing law
Ontario and applicable Canadian law. Consumer rights you cannot waive still apply.
